SortdAI ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Grady Steer, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
1. Data we collect
Account data: your email address and a hashed password when you register.
Payment data: when you purchase credits, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers. Stripe shares your name, email address, and transaction amount with us to fulfil your order.
Photos you upload: images are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis and are not retained by us beyond your session.
Usage data: we log the number of analyses run and credits consumed to operate your account balance. We do not log the content of listings generated.
Analytics: if you consent to cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how the service is used. These tools may set cookies and collect anonymised usage data.
2. How we use your data
We use your data to provide and improve SortdAI, process payments, send transactional emails (such as purchase receipts and account confirmations), and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Third-party processors
Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy)
Anthropic — AI image analysis (anthropic.com/privacy)
Loops — transactional email delivery (loops.so/privacy)
Railway — hosting and infrastructure (railway.app/legal/privacy)
Google Analytics / Meta Pixel — analytics (consent required)
4. Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you logged in. With your consent, we also load Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel via Google Tag Manager, which may set additional cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
5. Data retention
Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will remove your account and associated data within 30 days. Payment records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent for analytics at any time. To exercise these rights, email hello@sortdai.co.uk.
